Levy says the agency conducted 4,353 tests. Of those:
- 8.5 per cent, or 369 patients, showed evidence of hepatitis B infection
- 0.9 per cent, or 39 patients, showed evidence of hepatitis C infection
- none of the tests came up positive for HIV
