Drop in effectiveness of HCV treatment in national VA practice

The most recent issue of the Journal of Hepatology investigates gaps in the achievement of effectiveness of HCV treatment in national VA practice

Antiviral treatment for hepatitis C virus (HCV) has high efficacy rates for achieving sustained viral response in randomized controlled trials.

However, it can be lower in community-based practice settings.

I happen to be one of the low percent success cases. I achieved SVR through the VA. Thank you Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson MS, especially Gwen and Dr. M.J. Burton.
